Art Guidelines
Follow these file basics for a cleaner proof. We can also create the design for you.
File types
- Send vector files when possible: AI, EPS, or PDF.
- Convert all fonts to outlines.
- Send images at 300 dpi at the final print size.
Laminates and hangtags
- Extend backgrounds 1/8″ past the trim edge.
- Keep text and logos 1/8″ inside the trim edge.
- Keep artwork clear of the slot punch or hook cut.
Lanyards and wristbands
- Use horizontal logos when possible.
- Send Pantone colors for woven and screen printed products.
- Keep small text large enough to read at the width you choose.
