How to Plan Color-Coded Access Zones

A good credential answers one question quickly: can this person go through this door? Color is the fastest way to answer it.

List your zones first

Write down each area that needs control, such as the stage, production office, hospitality, and parking. Then list who needs access to each one.

Give each level one strong color

Use colors that look different in low light. Add a large word or letter too, so the system still works for anyone who has trouble telling colors apart.
